Gail Lynn (Hall) Meade

Gail Lynn Meade, 65, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born April 17, 1957 in Gallia County, Ohio, to the late James Edward Hall and Carol "Kay" Bischoff. Gail married Samuel Meade of Vinton, Ohio 42 years ago on December 10, 1980 in Gallipolis and he survives.

Gail had a passion for caring for people. She used this passion working as a home health LPN.  She was a loving and giving person. Her smile and kind presence was known by many.

In addition to her husband, Sam, Gail is survived by their children: Amy (Jamie) Graham, Patriot, Ohio, Sarah (Jonathan Darnell) Meade and Justin (Amy Walton) Meade, both of Bidwell; grandchildren: Lindsay (Bronson) Eutsler, Patrick Graham, Kalynn Sturgeon, Kamryn Meade, Trevor and Owen Bevan, Hunter and Maddie McClure; great-grandchildren: Olivia and Cole Eutsler and Waylon and Lorretta McClure; brothers: Jim Hall, Bidwell, Ohio and Ray (Pam) Hall, Wellston, Ohio; sisters: Katherine Hall, Grafton, Ohio; Della (Tom) Starcher, Vermillion, Ohio; Barbara Moore, Powell, Ohio; Ruth (Daryl Martin) Hall, Gallipolis, Ohio and Debra (Gary) Jones, Addison, Ohio; brothers-in-law: Bobby Williamson, Crum, West Virginia; Roger Dale Meade, and Flem (Donna) Meade, both of Vinton, Ohio; sisters-in-law: Dolly Marcum, Vinton, Ohio; Georgia Bell Meade and Mary (George) Pendleton, both of Bidwell, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to her parents Gail was preceded in death by nephew, Kyle Moore; mother-in-law, Sarah Meade; father-in-law, Robert Meade; brothers-in-law, Randolph Marcum, Bill Williamson, Roy Meade and Bill Watson and sisters-in-law, Nancy Watson, Mary Williamson and Kay Williamson.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday, March 20, 2023 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. The family will gather at the Vinton Town Hall following the visitation Monday for a meal and time of sharing.
