Gary Lee Mccomas

Gary Lee McComas, 81, Vinton, Ohio passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at Holzer Senior Care.  He was born at Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Stollie and Beulah Bradbury McComas.  He was a retired coal miner and a self-employed farmer. Gary was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and National Rifle Association.

Gary is survived by a daughter, Kathy Ballantyne, Vinton, Ohio and son, Tim (Andrea) McComas, Vinton, Ohio; grandchildren:  Danny "Pal" Ballantyne, Kayla (Justin) Mollohan and Tiffany McComas, all of Vinton, Ohio and Adam (Becky) Davis and Ryan Clark, both of Jackson, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Jessa Mollohan, Wade, Aiden and Brentley Davis and one to arrive in March, 2017; brother, Hayward (Martha) McComas, Vinton, Ohio; sister, Paula Stover, Gallipolis, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Larry McComas and sister, Betty Marcum.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Vinton Memorial Park with Pastor Carl Ward officiating.  Family and friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel 11:00 A.M. to the time of service.
