Gertrude (Presley) Marcum

Gertrude Marcum, 71, Vinton, Ohio passed away Friday October 26, 2007 in Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, West Virginia. She was born April 13, 1936 at Fort Gay, West Virginia, daughter of the late John and Ida Ball Presley.
She is survived by a son, James (Connie) Marcum, Columbus; two daughters, Mary (John) Hatfield, Burlington, North Carolina and Ida Marcum, Vinton; seven grandchildren: Bobby Brooks, James Brooks, Gary and Cynthia Woodrow, Jerry Woodrow, Chrissy Marcum, B.J. Marcum, Mary (Mark) Childress; ten great-grand-children; two sisters, Louise Bowen and Margie Peck, both of Columbus Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday October 29, 2007 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor James Simms officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 4:00-8:00 PM.
