Gladys L. (Howell) Gehring

Gladys L. Gehring, 70, Bidwell, Ohio passed away after a brief illness Monday, May 4th, 2009 at her residence. She was born on March 7, 1939 in Taylorsville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Carl Morrison and Melvia Howell. She was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Cedarpoint, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Gehring, three brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are daughter, Beth L. Williams, Bidwell and grandchildren: Bobbie Morrison, Cynthia L. Morrison, Hollis (fiancée Chelsea Laws) Morrison, Douglas (Jeanette Newsome) Morrison; twenty great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters: Maudine (Calvin) Minnis, Bidwell; Geraldine Cordell, Gallipolis; Jerry Morrison, Gallipolis; Lee Morrison, Kerr; Odessa Snyder, Bidwell and Clayton Morrison, Bidwell; special friend and caregiver, Jason Woods and special friend William Reed.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, May 8, 2009 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel with Rev. Calvin Minnis officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Bethel Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Friday 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon.
