Glenna Mable (Knight) Long

Glenna Mable Long, 91, Bidwell, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 31, 2016. She was born May 4, 1925 in Nitro, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Kenna and Lura (Mitchell) Knight. Glenna graduated from Nitro High School in 1944 and married Quigley Morris Long July 15, 1944. She was a long-standing member of Morgan Center Christian Holiness Church, Bidwell, Ohio.
Glenna is survived by her son, Rickie L. Long, Richmond, Virginia and her devoted daughter, Penny (Albert) Loveday, Bidwell; grandchildren: Julie Long, Stephanie Campbell, Adam Loveday and Rick Long; great-grandchildren: Brandon and Hunter Slone; Katie, Laura Beth and Maggie Mae Campbell; and Gabriel, Andrew and Benjamin Loveday; brothers: Kenneth Knight, Jack Knight and David (Sonny) Knight; sisters: Mary Ann Arthur, Shirley Saunders, Becky Denney and Tommie Sue Staton and brother-in-law, John Kenneth Russell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Quigley Morris Long and three infant children: Quigley Morris Long, Jr., Ronald Robert Long and Linda Lou Long; brother, James Knight and sisters: Noma Cable, Maxine Russell, Rosalee Russell and Rosemary Skidmore.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM In the Morgan Center Christian Holiness Church, Bidwell, with Theron Durham and Pastor Ted Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Center Cemetery. Friends and family may call Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, 5:00-7:00 PM.
