Glennis Sarah Garnes
April 11, 1919 — May 15, 2007
Glennis Sarah Garnes was born April 11, 1919 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Ralph and Bessie Garnes. Glennis moved from Ohio to Chicago in the late 1980's to be closer to family.
Glennis accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age and demonstrated this throughout her life. Glennis joined Emmanuel Community Church and attended whenever her health would permit.
Glennis leaves to cherish her memory brothers: Carl (Elizabeth), Dale (Aria), Eugene (Donna), Lawrence (Dorothy), Merrill (Patricia) and sister Carol(Raymond) and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Ralph (Bessie) and brother John and Clarence.
Funeral Services were conducted 12:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2007 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Rev. Gene Armstrong officiating. Interment followed in Pine Street Cemetery.
