Gloria Jean "Jeanie" Stanley, 76, Point Pleasant, West Virginia (formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio) passed away following a lengthy illness Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. A devout Christian, Jeanie was born December 20, 1947 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph "Joe" and Anna (Gordon) Ebersbach. A 1966 Graduate of Pomeroy High School, Pomeroy, Ohio, she worked as a Medical Office Manager in the Medical Plaza of Gallipolis for 37 years before her retirement, employed by Dr.'s Abels, Subbiah and Vallee.
Jeanie leaves behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Andrea (Travis) Sims-Rodgers, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren, Trey Sims and Destiny "Talyn" Rodgers; sisters: Merri (Randy) Roush, New Haven, West Virginia; Darla (Joe) Hall and Nancy Brumfield, both of Vienna, West Virginia and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren as well as playing bingo, shopping and vacationing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by husband, Donald E. Stanley as well as brothers, Frank Ebersbach and Tom Ebersbach and an infant sister, Betty Ann Ebersbach.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pleasant Valley Nursing Home and Rivers Health for the care and compassion afforded to Jeanie.
Memorial services will be conducted Monday, May 20, 2024 at 12:30 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio. The family will receive friends Monday 11:00 AM to the 12:30 PM service time.
