Gregory Allen Rece

Gregory Allen Rece, 62, Vinton, Ohio died at his residence Saturday, December 14, 2019 following a long illness. Greg was born October 27, 1957 in Vinton, Ohio, son of Coleen (Smith) Rece, Kendallville, Indiana and the late James Harvey Rece. A United States Marine Veteran, he worked as a self-employed carpenter throughout his life.

Greg leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Chasity Craycraft, Vinton, Ohio and Sean (Crystal) Rece, Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren: Shaya Craycraft, Tre Craycraft, Kyla Craycraft, Paisyn Craycraft and Kolton Lewis as well as brothers, Doug Rece, Butler, Indiana; Rocky Rece, Gallipolis, Ohio and sister, Rachel Rece, Kendallville, Indiana.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, at 5:00-7:00 PM. Cremation services were under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home who is honored to serve the Rece Family.

In lieu of flowers, it was Greg's wish for donations to be sent to the funeral home to aid in the funeral expenses. Donations may be sent to The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, P O Box 148, Vinton, OH 45686.
