Harold Lee Skidmore, 81, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026, at Abbyshire Place Rehabilitation Center, Bidwell, Ohio. Born in Gallipolis, Ohio, December 29, 1944, he was the son of the late Okey and Naomi (Brabham) Skidmore.
Harold worked in maintenance at Holzer Medical Center to retirement, a job he truly enjoyed. He loved spending time talking to others, going to church, and fellowshipping with his church family at Pinnacle Church, Vinton, Ohio. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Angela Craig, Columbus, Ohio; Jason (Angie) Skidmore, Chillicothe, Ohio; Jonathan (Amelia) Skidmore, Columbus and Jennifer (Michael) Mandrell, Lafayette, Tennessee; grandchildren: Jared Boyd, Justin Boyd, Jeremy Boyd, Halie Skidmore, Ethan Skidmore, Katelen Mandrell, Macie Mandrell, Aaliyah Mandrell and Ashleigh (Evan) Garrison.
Also missing Harold are his lifelong friend and extended family member, Patty Sprague, and the entire Evergreen Community.
Harold was preceded by wife, Linda Skidmore and brothers, Paul Skidmore and David Skidmore.
A Gathering of Friends will be announced at the convenience of the family. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio, who is honored to serve the Skidmore Family.
