Harold H. Weatherholt

Harold H. Weatherholt, 91, of Bidwell, Ohio (Rodney Community) went home to be with his Savior on Tuesday April 20, 2010 at Arbors of Gallipolis following an extended illness. He was a retired carpenter and truck driver employed by the Mohr Trucking of Milton, West Virgnia.

He was born November 1, 1918 in Cabell County, West Virginia son of the late Reuben and Ada France Weatherholt. Harold married Frances Mohr of Bidwell on July 30, 1940 and she survives. To this union were born five children, Patricia (Eugene) Holley and Barbara Weatherholt both of Rodney; Bonnie Patten, Orient, Ohio; sons, Phillip (Patty) Weatherholt, Rio Grande, Ohio and Charles Weatherholt, Gallipolis, Ohio. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Hedrick, Homer, and Oscar Weatherholt and two sisters, Mary Smith and Betty Jane Mohr.

Funeral Services will conducted 1:00 PM Thursday April 22, 2010 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis, with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow at Centerpoint Cemetery, Thurman, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 PM.
