Harry D. Swisher, 64, Ironton, Ohio (formerly of Vinton, Ohio) passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Kings Daughter's Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. Harry was born July 21, 1952 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Raymond Edward and Hattie Louise (Shumpter) Swisher, Jr.
He is survived by sisters: Donna Lambert, Middleport, Ohio and Nancy Swisher, Westerville, Ohio; a special nephew, Tommy (Tiffany) Lambert, Bidwell, Ohio; special great-nephew, Henley Lambert, Bidwell, Ohio; nieces and nephews: Crystal Dillon, Westerville, Ohio; Corbin Dillon, Dallas, Texas; Robert Dillon, Fort Worth, Texas; Jenny Hart, Syracuse, Ohio; Brad Swisher, Syracuse, Ohio and a host of other extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Linda Swisher and brother, Jerry Swisher.
Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel with Rev. Heath Jenkins officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 5:30-7:00 PM. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, who is honored to serve the Swisher Family.
