Helen J. Crabtree
November 15, 1932 — April 25, 2015
Helen J. Crabtree, 82, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family Saturday morning, April 25, 2014. She retired from the Ohio Job and Family Services, Gallipolis, Ohio following more than twenty-five years employment. Her family was the pride and joy of her life and she could be found in their company most of her free time.
Helen was born November 15, 1932 at Dunbar, West Virginia, to the late Ernest and Lena Finney Thompson. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Borton and Donna Martin, Gallipolis, Ohio; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn Thompson, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Preceding her in death were her son-in-law, Rusty Martin and nine brothers and sisters.
Her family will receive friends 6:00–8:00 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, 420 First Avenue, Gallipolis, Ohio. In accordance with her wishes there will be a Private Graveside Committal in Calvary Cemetery, Rio Grande, Ohio following cremation.
