Helen Maxine (Knight) Russell
April 9, 1922 — March 4, 2008
Helen Maxine Knight Russell, 85, Bidwell, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, March 4, 2008 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. She was the daughter of the late Kenna Hugh and Laura Pearl Mitchell Knight and was a graduate of Poca High School.
Surviving are her husband, John Kenneth Russell; son, Johnnie Eugene (Carol) Russell, Bidwell; three brothers and six sisters: Kenneth, Jackson, and David Knight, Noma Cable, Mary Ann Arthur, Glenna Long, Shirley Jo (Clyde) Van Hoose, Becky (Randy) Denney and Tommy Sue (Teddy) Staton.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday, March 8 at Harvestime Church, Main Street, Vinton, Ohio with Pastor James Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM Friday at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, 208 Main St, Vinton. Following services on Saturday, the family will receive friends at the Vinton Masonic Lodge.
