Helen Joanne Wickline

Helen Joanne Wickline, 79, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis.  She was born November 3, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late David G. and Helen L. (Dean) Wickline.  Joanne was an active member of Bidwell United Methodist Church where she was the Pianist, Sunday School teacher and Youth Leader for many years.  She served as the Youth Leader for many years where she touched many lives through Vacation Bible School and the Methodist Youth Fellowship. Joanne made many friends through her work at the family owned business, Wickline's Grocery and her years of service at the Bidwell Post Office.

Joanne is survived by her daughters: Cindy (Keith) Wolfe, Gallipolis, Ohio; Kathy (Bobby) Casto, Bidwell, Ohio and Cherie (Bill) McClure, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Darci-Ann (Nick) Lopez, Columbus, Georgia; Carissa (Eric) Muhlenkamp, Columbus, Ohio; Trenton Wolfe, Gallipolis, Ohio; Samantha (Jordan) Burns, Louisville, Kentucky; Allison McClure, Kent, Ohio and Nathan (Tess) McClure; great-grandchildren: Ben Muhlenkamp, Baby Clara Rose (on the way), Rhys Burns, Liam and Skylar McClure.  She is also survived by a brother, David D. (Rose) Wickline, Williamstown, West Virginia and nephew, Dave (Marcy) Wickline, Jr. and his daughters, Kylee and Erika, Calloway, Maryland. In addition to her immediate family, she shared her life with a special friend, Allen Raines.

Memorial services will be conducted 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in the Bidwell United Methodist Church with Rev. Calvin Minnis and Rev. Jack Berry officiates. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service hour. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio, who is honored to serve the Wickline Family.
