Hope C. (Russell) King

Hope C. King, Bidwell, Ohio (Porter Community) passed away at her residence Wednesday, December 1, 2004. She was born November 21, 1910 in Upland, West Virginia, daughter of the late John Rayburn and Clara Rayburn Russell.
She married Bernard Randolph King in 1940 and he survives with two daughters: Betty Heavlin, Rockford, Illinois and Carol Jean Johnson, Huber Heights, Ohio; nine grandchildren: Julie Slayer, Wayne Leon Heavlin II, John Allen Heavlin, Linda Sue Heavlin, Kim and Sharron Haney, Vanessa Byrd, Cheryl (Dover) Ball, Linda (Richard) Ricket, Karen (Pete) Compaleo; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Bird, Wayne Leon III, Simon Jeffery, Jacob Wayne, Paula and Autumn Lynn Heavlin; Laurita Ann, James Nathan and Lisa Adams; Christopher Joel and Benjamin Michel Haney; Lindsay Nida, Heather Ball, James Singleton; Josua, Jacob and Jared Compaleo; Paula and John Wayne Havelin; Christopher, Joel and Yelitza; great-great-grandchildren: Kayla and Zachery Heavlin; Samantha May; Tori Bocklage; Megan Ryan Adams; Ashley Finn; Brooke Zigenthler; Ryan, Raven and David Ball; Brandon Singleton and brother: Parker Chapman, Proctorville, Ohio.
She was preceded by one brother. Mrs. King was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Millford, Ohio.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. Heath Jenkins officiating with burial to follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday 2:00-4:00 PM.
