Irene (Shipley) Mcghee

Irene McGhee, 92, Gallipolis, Ohio died Tuesday November 19, 2002 in Holzer Medical Center. She was born July 10, 1910 at Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Alva and Mary Claywell Shipley.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kay (Jack) Quimby, Gallipolis; six grandchildren, Ronda (John) Dixon, Tammy (Steve) Thacker, Larry Clark, Linda Pomerez, Dennis Clark and Denise Giffin; three great-grandchildren, Ryann and Kelly Thacker and Kristin Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry McGhee, May 15, 1957; a daughter, Barbara Clark and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday November 23, 2002 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Pastor Michael Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call a the funeral home Friday 4:00-7:00 PM .
