Iva Lou Brewer, 94, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026. Iva was born December 6, 1931, in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle (George) Logue.
Iva was a devout Christian – a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene, Gallipolis, where she was known for her flair of organizing dinners and always ready to handle any challenges that arose. A member of the Red Hat Society, she was also a member of the Senior Citizens group, Old Time Chorale. Her many talents included professional cake decorating and crafts – she was well known for her quilt making and in her free time, she enjoyed watching NASCAR. Above all, Iva was a truly loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who left a mark on everyone who knew and met her.
Iva is survived by her daughters, Dianna Boggs, Gallipolis, Ohio and Patricia (Tom) Paskowski, Waco, Texas; grandchildren: Michael Holder, Joe Paskowski and Andra Boggs; stepchildren: Jan (Tom) Duncan, Carol (Bob) Kalosy, Sherry (Jim) Elliott; two great-grandchildren and brother, Denver Logue, Lexington, Ohio as well as several other extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Howard Mandell and Milton Brewer; daughter, Connie Roberts; granddaughter, Resa Pack; brothers, Archie Logue and Herbert Logue and sister-in-law, Rouie Logue.
Private services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio, who is honored to serve the Brewer Family.
