Jack L. Brewer, 80, Vinton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Arbors of Gallipolis. He was a loving dad to his daughter Cindy (Steve) Joplin of Gainesville, Florida and Papa to Kathleen and Michael Joplin, also of Gainesville. He was a devoted son to his late mother, Desta and step-father, Harry Polsley.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Japan during the Korean Conflict. While in the service, he was trained in aircraft identification which spawned his love of planes. After his service to his country he became a self employed Master Electrician working in Florida and Ohio.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Jim and Jessie Barcus, Jeff Harder, Ernestine Polsley, Gary McClaskey, Pauline McCoy and others too numerous to mention for their friendship and special care.

Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, on Saturday, February 25, 2012 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A flag presentation will be conducted by Vinton American Legion Post.
