Jack Eugene Gardner, 50, Gallipolis, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007 at his residence. He was born November 15, 1956 in Gallipolis, son of the late Elmer and Myrtle Fillinger Gardner. He was a member of Carpenters' Local Union 1159, Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia.
He is survived by daughter, Megan (Brian) Morrison, San Angelo, Texas and son, Andrew (Micah) Gardner, Gallipolis, Ohio; two grandchildren, Drew and Erin Morrison, San Angelo, Texas; one step-grandchild, Allorah O'dell; four brothers: Robert (Carol) Gardner, Cottageville, West Virginia; Lee (Ruth) Gardner, Cheshire, Ohio; Thomas Gardner, Vinton, Ohio and Jeff (Pam) Gardner, Gallipolis, Ohio; sister, Mary (Warren) Berry, Gallipolis, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, Elmer and Myrtle Gardner and a sister, Barbara Samour.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Pastor Jim Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6:00-9:00 PM.
