James William Eggers

James William Eggers, 86, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Abbyshire Nursing and Rehab Center, Bidwell. He was born November 11, 1938, in Logan, West Virginia, son of the late William Henry Eggers and Irene (Michael) Eggers. James retired from Boilermakers Local #667 of Winfield, West Virginia. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran, loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Bailey Chapel, Gallipolis, where he taught Bible Study and Sunday School for many years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carmen (Pugh) Eggers, whom he married October 5, 1973, in Gallipolis; children, Mark (Annette) Eggers, Julie Ann Eggers, Anthony (Karen) Eggers, Jamie (Debbie) Eggers, Abram (Stephanie) Eggers; fifteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in Moriah Cemetery, Oak Hill, Ohio with Pastor David Browning officiating.
