James M. "Jamie" Mills, Iv

James M. "Jamie" Mills IV, 56, Casselberry, Florida, passed away after a short illness in Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando, Florida. Jamie was born in Gallipolis, Ohio May 22, 1961, the son of Patricia (McGinness) Mills and the late James M. Mills III. A graduate of Gallia Academy High School, he attended Hocking College before moving to Florida to escape the cold weather of Ohio. He enjoyed being outside whether it be working, playing volleyball, golfing, fishing or relaxing on the beach. He was an avid Miami Hurricanes fan.

Jamie is survived by mother, Patricia Mills and brother and sister: Andy (Barbara) Mills, DeLand, Florida and Julia (Tony) Fahrion, Athens, Ohio; nephews and niece: Anthony (Kara) Fahrion, Columbus, Ohio; Elizabeth Fahrion, Athens, Ohio; Andrew Mills, Jacksonville, Florida and Matthew Mills, Neptune Beach, Florida.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, Charles "Mac" and Elizabeth "Betty" McGinnis and James M. and Beulah Mills.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2017 in the First Presbyterian Church, 51 State Street, Gallipolis, Ohio with Rev. Randy Terry officiating. Services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio.
