James Austin Oiler, son of Julie Marie Spradlin and James Randall Oiler, Vinton, Ohio, was stillborn at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, December 24, 2003.
In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother and two sisters: Jeremy, Justina and Lisa Oiler, Vinton; his Maternal grandmother,Penny Spradlin and step-Grandfather, James Sheets, Middleport, Ohio; Maternal Grandfather, Roland Spradlin, Nelsonville, Ohio; Maternal Great-Grandmother and Step-Great-Grandfather: Judy and Bob Jacobs, Pomeroy, Ohio; Maternal Great-Grandfather, Paul Steinmetz, Harrisonville, Ohio; Tom Spradlin, Columbus, Ohio
and several aunts, uncles, and cousins
He was preceded by a sister, Jessica Oiler; Paternal Grandparents, Ralph and Elsie Oiler and Maternal Great-Grandmother, Mabel Spradlin.
Graveside services were held 11:00 AM Friday in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Bidwell with Pastor Lou Dunnells officiating under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton.
