James Bernard Rife

James Bernard Rife, 66, of Cheshire, Ohio, sadly passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025. James was born on June 22, 1958.

James is survived by his father, James Ronald Rife, as well as his son, James Lee Rife. He is also survived by his brother, Nathaniel Thomas Rife, sister in law, Josephine Brioso Rife, and granddaughter, Kailyn Shae Rife.

He was a devoted river worker for many years. He had a passion for collecting coins and loved fishing with his son. Some of his many qualities were his big heart and how generous and loving he was to his family and friends.

Graveside service will be held at Gravel Hill Cemetery Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, is honored to have served the Rife Family.

James was a beacon of light to anyone who knew him and will be greatly missed. Please always carry his memory in your heart.
