James "Jim" Sexton

James "Jim" Sexton, 82, Bidwell, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Scenic Hills Nursing Home. He was born on May 25, 1926 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Ross and Lola Kemper Sexton.
Jim is survived by five brothers and sisters: Elizabeth Mitchell, Bidwell; Betty Boyer, Monaca, Pennsylvannia; Peggy Sexton, loving sister and care taker, Bidwell; John Sexton, Bidwell; Orville Sexton, Kerr and a special nephew, Bradford Fillinger, Bidwell as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother: Dorothy Drummond, Anna Fillinger, and Ross Sexton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Rev. Larry Drummond officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Tuesday, December 30, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 PM.
