James D. Swanson

James D. Swanson, 63, Gallipolis, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born April 18, 1943 in Gallipolis, son of the late Franklin Fry and Hazel Morrow Swanson.
John married Linda Plantz May 2, 1964 in Gallipolis and she survives, along with two sons: James (Angel) Swanson and Robert Edward Swanson, both of Miamisburg, Ohio; daughter, Patricia (Danny) Grushon, Miamisburg; four sisters: Norma Jean Moss, Gallipolis, Ohio; Margaret Ann Dominguez, Hemmitt, California; Hilda May Gonzales, Hemmitt, California and Anna (Paul) Baird, Alabama; three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Ann Puls, brother, Franklin Swanson Jr. and sister, Clara Cromlish.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 11:00-1:00 PM. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Hill Grove Cemetery, Miamisburg, Ohio.
