Jeffrey E. Turner, 48, Thurman, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2016, at his home following a brief illness. He was born July 5, 1967, in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Roger and Donna Beatrice Marcum Turner. He was as an over the road truck driver, who loved to hunt, fish and be in the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Yates Turner and sons: Jeffrey E. (Lauren Kaufman) Turner II, London, Ohio, Jeremey Turner, Galloway, Ohio, Thomas (Nicole) Yates, Thurman, Ohio and Matthew (Dorothy) Yates, Rio Grande, Ohio; and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers: Jack (Penny) Harless, Rio Grande, Ohio, Gregory (Esther) Turner, Jackson, Ohio, Roger Turner, Jr., Columbus, Ohio; and a half-sister, Alberta Turner, Columbus, Ohio. In addition he is survived by several aunts, uncles and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 1, 2016 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Graveside service will follow the visitation in the Pendleton Marcum Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio with Pastor Rocky Jeffers officiating.
