Jo Anne (Lundy) Glassburn
June 20, 1951 — April 10, 2017
Joanne Glassburn, 65, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 20, 1951 in Michigan to the late Clint Lundy and Thelma Jones Lundy Sparks. Joanne married James "Jim" Glassburn, his wife of twenty-seven years. She was a registered nurse who retired in 2011 from Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio.
In addition to her husband she is survived by children: Anthony (Michelle) Switzer, Newport News, Virginia; Tim (Aimee) Switzer, Hurricane, West Virginia and Tom Switzer, Vinton, Ohio; step-daughters: Jane Brandeberry, Bidwell, Ohio and Aimee (Mike) O'Bryan, Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren: Jamie Glassburn, Shelby Smittle, Serena (Phillip) Tofts, Chelsea (Dalton) Jarrell, Levi Brandeberry, Joshua Glassburn, Cobi Brandeberry, Ty (Lexi) Smittle, Lindsay Switzer, Addison Glassburn, Toree Switzer, Madison Switzer, T. J. Switzer, Laura (Woota) O'Bryann and Emree Switzer; great-grandson, Tyson "Toot" Jarrell; sister, Carol (David) Crist, Cincinnati, Ohio and brother-in-law, Garry Miller, Washington State.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister, Linda Miller; brothers, Preston Lundy and Jackie Lundy and step-son, J. C. Glassburn.
Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2017 at the McCoy Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel with Pastor Chester Hess officiating. Ohio Eastern Star service will be conducted Friday at 7:45 PM, prior to funeral service. Friends and family may call Friday from 6:00–8:00 PM at the funeral home.
