Joan Kemper

Joan Kemper, 83, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family Thursday, June 2, 2022 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born June 13, 1938 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Pearl and Mary (Gooldin) Kemper.

Joan is survived by her children: Rory (Daleanna) Langford, Bidwell, Ohio and Shawna (Ronald) Pitchford, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Danielle Price, Sabrina (fiancé Nick Bundenthal) Pope, Hollie Langford, Seth (Robin) Langford, Brian "B.J." Gay, Jessica Gay and Shane Gay; great-grandchildren: Charlie & Daimien Bradley, Reece & Rider Langford and several others; three nieces and one nephew as well as a sister-in-law, Carole Kemper, Mt. Sterling, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Vicki White and brothers, Harold "Grip" Kemper and Ray Kemper.

The family would like to extend gratitude and thanks to special friends and caregivers over the years of Joan's that she dearly loved.

Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, June 9, 2022 the Vinton Memorial Park.
