Joe E. Brown

Joe E. Brown, 84, Lodi, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 11, 1937 in Chapmanville, West Virginia, son of the late Wayne and Mary Harriett (Hill) Brown.

A member of the Free and Accepted Masons, he retired from LTV Steel of Cleveland following forty-one years of employment. He married Anna Lambert Brown August 28, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, and she survives.

Also surviving are their sons: Joe (Laura) Brown, Medina, Ohio; Timothy (Lynn) Brown, Pasadena, Texas and daughter, Karen (Jeff) Rice, LaGrange, Ohio; grandchildren: Erin, Kellie, Justin, Katie, Bradley, Kyle, Jaret and Karena and great-grandchildren: Baylee, Carmila, Avery, Emilee, Draven, Kaycen, Griffin and Parker. He will be missed by his brothers, Doug Brown, Piedmont Lake, Ohio and Johnny Brown, Hillsdale, Michigan and sister, Diana McGibbeny, Lehigh Acres, Florida.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Jack Brown, Mike Brown, Jim Brown, Jean Barr, Mary Atkins and Cordella Mickler.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, January 16, 2022 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Saturday, January 15 5:00-7:00 PM.
