John R. Harkins, 62, Bidwell, Ohio and Grove City, Ohio passed away at his Bidwell residence Friday, September 22, 2006. He was born September 12, 1944 son of the late John S. and Janet Whiteside Harkins.
He married Donna Fortner August 29, 1964 in Columbus, and she survives with children: Richard Allen Harkins, Galloway, Ohio; Patricia Lynn (Jeff) Keebaugh, Pomeroy; sister, Jeri (Evertt) Stone, Bloomingville, Ohio and Janet Harkins, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; sister-in-law, Mary (Dan) Mutters, Gallipolis; mother-in-law, Maxine Fortner, Gallipolis and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis, Ohio.
