John Converse Keels

John Converse Keels, 92, Bidwell, Ohio (Harrisburg Community) passed away on Tuesday morning, January 27, 2004 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis.
He was born November 2, 1911 in Gallia County, Ohio a son of the late John and Lenora Roberts Keels.
Mr. Keels was a retired vocational instructor for the former G.S.I. now known as the Gallipolis Developmental Center. In addition, he was a member of the Elks Lodge, Columbus, Ohio.
He is survived by a sister, Ruby Harris, Oak Hill, Ohio; three half-sisters, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 30, 2004 in the Union Baptist Church, Blackfork, Ohio with the Rev. Roger Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
