John E. Ralston

John E. Ralston, 64, Gallipolis passed away unexpectedly Monday July 2, 2007 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born August 22, 1942 in Gallia County, son of the late John and Dorothy Fergerson Ralston. He was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School, Rio Grande Community College, and Marshall University. He was a former teacher and taught school at Rutland, Gallipolis, and Mt. Sterling.
He is survived by his wife Deloris Williams Ralston, three step-children, Mitchell Williams and Chris (Denise) Williams, both of Cattlesburg, Kentucky; Joyce (Eddie) Gillian, Inman, South Carolina; four step-grandchildren: Chad Bryan, Brandy Robbins, Leia Williams, and Lacie Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Pastor Ted Glassburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 6:00-9:00 PM.
