John Beers, Sr.
December 17, 1942 — March 23, 2015
John Beers, Sr., 72, Vinton, Ohio passed away at Holzer Medical Center, Monday, March 23, 2015. He was born December 17, 1942, son of the late John and Myrtle Williams Beers. He married Rose Mary Powers August 19, 1961 at London, Ohio and she survives. John was a former member of F.O.E. Lodge 950, London, Ohio; former member of VFW Post 4964, Washington Court House, Ohio and a member of The NRA.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children: John (Darlene) Beers, Jr., Vinton, Ohio; Robert Lee Beers, Vinton, Ohio; Riggs Scott (Melissa) Beers, Leesburg, Ohio and Eric (Elizabeth) Robinson, Savannah, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
John was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Beers, two brothers and four sisters.
In accordance to John's wishes there will be no services. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio.
