John A. Stewart, 62, Bidwell, passed away Friday, April 28, 2006 at his residence. Born June 7, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late William and Sarah Jane Johnson Stewart. He was a retired salesman from Sanford and Son Auto Sales, Columbus, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Stewart, Bidwell and children: Ann Climer, Columbus, Ohio; Tina (Jim) Cave, Brooksville, Florida; Venus (Luis) Hernandez, Bidwell; Ashley Shepherd, Bidwell; Floyd (Ray) Shepherd, Bidwell; Jason Frisbie; Jimmy Stewart, Wilmington, Ohio and Shannon Stewart, Wilmington; twenty-one grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters: Nancy Curnutte, Washington Courthouse, Ohio and Sue Palmer; brothers: Bill Stewart and Jerry Stewart, Washington Courthouse; Jack Stewart and Raymond Stewart, Gallipolis, Ohio; Robert Stewart, Gallipolis; aunt, Fannie Gardner, Columbus, Ohio; cousin: Connie Johnson, Gallipolis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Johnnie Stewart Jr. and daughter, Janine Cooper.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, 208 Main St, Vinton on Monday, May 2, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM.
