Joyce Ann (Canaday) Smith
June 12, 1951 — April 6, 2013
Joyce Ann (Canaday) Smith died at Riverside Methodist Hospital Saturday, April 6th, 2013. She has been a resident of Gallia County her entire life and retired from Ohio Bell in 2000. Joyce is preceded in death by parents Marshall and Helen Canaday.
She is survived by her husband, Don Smith; three brothers: Patrick (Betsy), Marshall "Mark" (Debra) and Scott (Andrea) Canaday. She was a mother to Billy (Betty) and Mark (Stacey) Smith and leaves behind several grandchildren, several cousins and three Aunts: Betty Reese, Ruth Jones and Dorothy Cochrane as well as two nephews, three nieces, several great-nephews and a great-niece.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. Jack Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyn Rhos Cemetery near Rio Grande. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 5:00-8:00 PM.
