June Evelyn (Ross) Kemper

June Evelyn Kemper, 77, Bidwell went to be with the Lord September 29, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. She was born May 12, 1933 in Morgan County, Ohio to the late Emily LeFever and Phillip Ross. She married Harold "Grip" Kemper December 12, 1953 in Columbus. They owned and operated Kemper's Butcher Shop near Vinton until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, June is survived by daughters, Diana Kemper and Sheryl Kemper, both of Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren, Amanda Harder, Vinton and Rowdy White, Bidwell, Ohio; brothers, Ralph (Dorotha) Ross, Mt. Sterling, Ohio and Lee (Evelyn) Ross, Malta, Ohio; sister-in-law, Joan Kemper, Plain City, Ohio and brother-in-law, Ray (Carole) Kemper, Mt. Sterling, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon October 4, 2010 at the Vinton Baptist Church, 11818 SR 160, Vinton with Pastor Ed Mollahan, Rev. Larry Brown, and Rev. Marvin Sallee officiates. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park in Vinton. Friends and family may call at the church Sunday from 5:00-8:00 PM. Arrangements are by McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis.
