Karen (Fitch) Nelson

Karen Fitch Nelson, 57, Gallipolis and formerly of Vinton, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at her residence following a brief battle with cancer. She was a member of the Vinton Baptist Church.
She was born on June 10, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Paula McComas Stover, Cleburne, Texas, and the late Cline Eugene Fitch. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Dave Nelson and son, Shane (Brenda) Spencer, both of Cleburne, Texas; and four grandchildren: Shayna and Vinnie Spencer, Michael Ray Braden, and Hallie Elizabeth Russell. Also surviving are a brother and sister: Dennis (Kathy) Fitch, Vinton and Teri Plants, Gallipolis.
Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton on Saturday 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Graveside services will follow in Vinton Memorial Park with Rev. Marvin Sallee officiating.
