Katherine Anne (Roberts) Friend

Katherine Anne Roberts Friend, 80, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away peacefully Friday, August 2, 2024, in her home. She was born January 12, 1944, in Bidwell, daughter of the late Earl and "Sadie" Christmas (Pelfrey) Roberts. Katherine had a zest for life and an infectious smile with a witty, ornery sense of humor that will be dearly missed.

She leaves behind her brother, Carl "Frank" Roberts, Bidwell, Ohio and sister, Helen (Don) Copeland, Abbeville, Florida; guardian and niece, Paulette (Frank) Flinner, Bidwell and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by brothers Melvin Roberts, Max Roberts, Charles "Buddy" Roberts and Rex Roberts and sister, Rebecca "Janie'" Merry.

The family would like to Thank Initial Independence Provider Services and the Staff for the excellent care they provided Katherine. She appreciated everyone for their love and concern, especially Cindy, Sandra, Natasha, Kirsten and Kristen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Paulette's Home, 838 Green Valley Drive, Bidwell, Ohio. A Private burial will be held in Centenary Cemetery, Gallipolis, at the convenience of the family.
