Kelly R. Eggers, Sr., 73, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 15, 2026. Born in Logan, West Virginia, November 13, 1952, he was the son of the late William and Irene (Mahaly) Eggers. Kelly was a member of New Life Church of God, Gallipolis, where he served as a trustee and he was employed by City Ice & Fuel, Gallipolis, for many years as a truck driver.

Kelly is survived by his son, Kelly “Tanker” (Tessa) Eggers, Holden, West Virginia; grandchildren: Levi (Amber) Jeffery, Holden, West Virginia and Skyler (Caleb) White, Chapmanville, West Virginia; four great-grandchildren: Jasper, Ellianna, Sophia Rae and Grayson; sister, Sally (Art) Akers and special friends, Hannah Ehman, Danny Layne, Rick Towe and Leo Wellington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and fishing partner, James “Jim” Eggers.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2026, in Mariah Cemetery, Oak Hill, Ohio, with Rev. Rick Towe and Pastor Dave Browning, co-officiants.

The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, is honored to serve the Eggers Family.
