Kermit Puckett, 93, Radcliff, Ohio died June 9, 2014 at Four Winds Community, Jackson, Ohio. He was born December 12, 1920 at Lookout, Kentucky to the late David and Nancy Jane (Coleman) Puckett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel, in 1999 and brother, Frank Puckett, in 2013.
He is survived by one brother, Gene Puckett, Radcliff, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
He was an Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II, serving as a Sergeant teletype operator, primarily in Ireland. Kermit worked in research at the Argonne National Labs, Chicago, Illinois and Piketon Uranium Enrichment Plant. He later relocated to Steinhatchee, Florida, where he pursued his interest in electronics, nutrition and recycling.
At his request, his remains will be cremated and scattered with no formal service. The family extends special thanks to Four Winds Community Staff and National Church Homes Hospice Staff. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, is honored to serve the Puckett Family.
