Kevin Eugene Payne

Kevin Eugene Payne, 47, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in Cheshire, Ohio. Kevin was born July 1, 1978, the son of Wendell Adrian Payne of Bidwell and the late Rita Mae (Harris) Payne. Kevin was a veteran of the armed services, serving in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Bidwell. 

In addition to his father, Kevin is survived by sister, Patricia (Jimmy) Samons, uncles Robert L. Lawson (Deborah); Gene Ellis Payne, Keith Harlan “Turk” Payne; David, Timmy, Worny and Frank Harris; aunts Tammy Harris, Geri Harris, Kay Harris and Lora Harris; special niece and nephew, Kiana Samons and Isaiah Samons, several additional cousins and their families. 

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in the McCoy-Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Rev. Marlin Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Cremation services will follow.
