Kevin Eugene Payne

Kevin Eugene Payne, 47, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away, Wednesday November 12, 2025, in Cheshire, Ohio. Kevin was born on July 1, 1978, the son of Wendell Adrian Payne of Bidwell and the late Rita Mae (Harris) Payne. Kevin was a veteran of the armed services, serving in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Bidwell. 

In addition to his father, Kevin is survived by, sister, Patricia (Jimmy) Samons, Uncles Robert L. Lawson (Deborah), Gene Ellis Payne, and Keith Harlan “Turk” Payne, David, Timmy, Worny and Frank Harris. Special niece and nephew, Kiana Samons and Isaiah Samons, several additional cousins and their families. 

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday November 18, 2025, in the McCoy-Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Rev. Marlin Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.. Cremation services will follow. The McCoy-Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel is honored to serve the Payne Family.
