Kristen N. (Marcum) Swingle
July 22, 1982 — January 12, 2011
Kristen N. Swingle, 28, Vinton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her residence Wednesday, January 12, 2011. She was born July 22, 1982 in Gallipolis, the daughter of Keith and Drema Marcum of Vinton. She was a 2000 graduate of River Valley High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center. She was a former employee of the Guarding Angels Daycare, Vinton and a member of the Vinton Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Kristen is survived by her husband, Jamie Swingle and children, Rileigh, Tyler and Layne Swingle; brother, Gabriel (Cynthia) Marcum, Gallipolis; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Marlene Swingle, Jackson; paternal grandfather, Ron Marcum, Vinton; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Kemper, Gallipolis; maternal grandfather, Bill (Mary Lou) Waugh, Akron; paternal great-grandmother, Opal Perry, Vinton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kristen was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Shirley Marcum; paternal great-grandfather, Gaylord Perry and maternal great-grandparents.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, January 16, 2011 in the Vinton Baptist Church, 11818 SR 160, Vinton, Ohio with Rev. Chester Hess officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the church on Saturday, January 15 3:00-7:00 PM.
