Larry Dwayne Gilbert

Larry Dwayne Gilbert, 60, Vinton, Ohio passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 27, 1961 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Goldie Marie Deel Gilbert, Vinton, Ohio and the late James Homer Gilbert. Larry was mechanic and truck driver who enjoyed spending time with his grandsons.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughter, Brittney (Paul) Simon and grandsons, Aiden and Greyson, all of Vinton; brothers, Donnie (Tenna) Gilbert, Rio Grande, Ohio; Gary Gilbert, Vinton; J.R. (Kim) Gilbert, Thurman, Ohio and Rick Gilbert, Vinton and sister, Wilma Gilbert, Vinton as well as a host of friends and extended family members.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, December 27, 2021 in the Poplar Ridge Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio with Denver McCarty officiating. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, is honored to serve the Gilbert Family.
