Larry Randall Wells

Larry R. Wells, 72, Monetta, South Carolina passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 in Aiken Regional Medical Center. Larry was born July 15, 1943 in Tallahassee, Florida, son of the late James and Thelma (Johnson) Wells. He married Della M. Wright, who survives. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Ridge Springs, South Carolina.
He is also survived by a son, Larry R. (Brooklyn) Wells, II; step-children: Sherice (Randall) Dickey; Wilber (Cynthia) Wright and Danny (Missi) Moore; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister: Cary (Robert) Harless; step-sister and step-brothers: Nancy (William) Johnson; Arnold (Donna) Pope and Johnny Pope.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Geneva Pope Wells; step-brothers, Bobby Joe Pope and Leroy Pope and step-son, Ronald Wright.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:15 PM Monday, February29, 2016 in the Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio with Danny Harless officiating. Friends and family may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, Monday 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
