Leigh (Williams) Wilburn

Leigh Wilburn, 81, Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away Sunday January 22, 2012 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. She was born October 11, 1930 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Loyd and Mary (Howard) Williams.
She is survived by a son, Dana (Mary) Lyons, Paintsville, Kentucky; daughter, Sandy (Bill) McCreedy, Gallipolis; grandchildren, Adam (Princess) Lyons, Paintsville, Kentucky; Andrea (John) Rhodes, Paintsville, Kentucky and Carrie (Jacob) Farthing, Hager Hill, Kentucky; seven great grandchildren: Audrey Grace, Lydia Eden, and Solomon Adam Lyons; Jacob Bruce Farthing; Abigail Elizabeth Rhodes; Isaac Clay Farthing and Abram Scott Farthing; and sister-in-law, Sadie Williams, Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Wilburn on March 26, 2005; a daughter, Valerie Paulette Tackett; three brothers and three sisters.
Friends and family may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Tuesday, January 24, 2012, 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012 in the Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery, Paintsville.
