Levi Thomas Dodrill

Levi Thomas Dodrill, 10, Vinton, Ohio passed away Monday, August 3, 2009 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. Levi was born July 21, 1999 in Gallipolis, Ohio son of Dennis R. (Nichole) Dodrill Jr., Vinton, Ohio and Sarah McGuire (Emory) Spurlock, Woodsfield, Ohio. Levi was in the 5th grade at Vinton Elementary School and enjoyed fishing, rock collecting, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Ewington Church of Christ in Christian Union in Ewington, Ohio.

In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Travis and Shawn Spurlock, Woodsfield; one sister, Brynna Dodrill, Vinton; paternal grandparents, Dennis (Ginger) Dodrill, Vinton; maternal grandmother, Carolyn McGuire, Patriot, Ohio; paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Dodrill, Vinton; paternal great-grandfather, Joe Camden, Bidwell, Ohio; maternal great-grandmother, Viola McGuire, Gallipolis and numerous loving extended family and friends.

Levi is preceded in death by one aunt, Keli Dodrill; maternal grandfather, Tommy McGuire; paternal great-grandfather, Darrell Dodrill; paternal great-grandmother, Betty Camden and maternal great-grandfather, Lester McGuire.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, August 8, 2009 in The Ewington Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Dave Stulley officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, 4:00-8:00 PM Friday, August 7.
