Lillian L. (Pesey) Price

Lillian L. Price, 80, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. She was born May 26, 1932 at Logan, West Virginia, daughter of the late Luther Merritt and Lillie Ramey Merritt Pesey. She retired from Holzer Medical Center after more than 30 years of employment and was a member of Prospect Baptist Church, Bidwell, Ohio. She was a breast cancer survivor who loved to travel.
Lillian is survived by her husband, Norris Price, whom she wed in West Hamlin, West Virginia in 1948. To this union were born three daughters: Karen Lemley Brady, Gallipolis; Kimberly K. (James) Norman, Vinton and Brenda Lee (Richard) Cheney, Gallipolis and eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and she will be missed by several nieces and nephews also.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, May 23, 2013 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Pastor Ed Mollohan officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Wednesday 6:00-8:00 PM.
