Linda Lou Filmer, 81, of Loxahatchee Groves, Florida passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Trustbridge Hospice of Palm Beach County, Florida.

She was born to the late Hollis and Myrtle (Cox) Kuhn on September 11, 1941 in Gallia County, Ohio. She was a homemaker, Girl Scout Leader, and member of the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church for many years. She also enjoyed volunteering her time tutoring elementary school students in reading.

Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth "Betsy" and Charles Johnston, Loxahatchee Groves, Florida; brother, Johnny Joe (Carolyn) Kuhn and sister-in-law Beverly "Hope" Kuhn and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Filmer and brothers, Jerry F. Kuhn, James Michael Kuhn and Kenneth David Kuhn.

A Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Friday, June 16, 2023 in the Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements and honored to serve the Filmer Family.
