Linda Kay (Shiflet) Skidmore

Linda Kay Mahan Skidmore, 66, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at her residence. The daughter of the late Robert and Betty (Brown) Shiflet, she was born October 2, 1947 at Gallipolis, Ohio. She was a member of Vinton Baptist Church.
Linda is survived by her husband, Harold Skidmore, Bidwell, son, Kevin (Christy) Mahan, Vermillion, Ohio and daughter, Traci M. Mahan, of the home; one step-grandchild; brother, Mike (Barbara) Shiflet, Bidwell; sisters, Patty (Don) Whitlock, Gallipolis; Deborah Carhart (Will Darnbrough), Gallipolis; Kelly (Chris) Lane, Gallipolis and step-children: Angela (Joseph) Craig, Columbus, Ohio; Jason (Angie) Skidmore, Grove City, Ohio; Jonathan Skidmore, Chillicothe, Ohio and Jennifer (Michael) Mandrell, Lafayette, Tennessee and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Terry Carhart.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, April 25, 2014 in Vinton Baptist Church, SR 160, Vinton with Rev. Heath Jenkins, officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the church Thursday 6:00-8:00 PM. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton is honored to serve the Skidmore Family.
