Lisa L. Houck, 48, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away at her residence on Friday, September 29, 2006. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a lover of music and the beach. She attended North Gallia High School and worked as a Nursing Aide in Columbus, Ohio. Lisa was born on May 3, 1958, in Gallipolis, daughter of Lorraine Bryant Howell, Vinton, and the late Earl Bryant.
In addition to her mother, Lorraine, she is survived by a son and a daughter: Neal Peifer, Gallipolis and Chloe, at home. Also surviving are her step-father, Charles Howell, Vinton, Ohio; a brother and two sisters: Earl S. (Judy) Bryant, Lewistown, Pennsylvannia; Jennifer (Roger) Blankenship, Patriot, Ohio; Robin (Randy) Rice, Vinton, Ohio; three grandchildren: Nathan B. Peifer, Kelli Olivia Peifer and Brayden A. Greer.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. Heath Jenkins and Rev. Marvin Sallee officiating. Burial will be in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday 5:00-8:00 PM.
